Introduction

In Western countries, people celebrate the first day on 01/01/11, while in China, according to the Chinese calender, the first day of 2011 is 02/03/11. Chinese are busy on asking questions at that time. They pay a great amount to fortune tellers to ask how their fortune for the whole year will be, especially rich businessmen. The question is, does that really help? Can people predict what is going to happen? Therefore, I will conduct an experiment to see if I am luckier if I pay cloe attention to the horoscope everyday and strictly follow the advice I am told. 


The experiment is simple and straight forward, living under the gospels of daily horoscopes, and I will focus on 2011Astrology.com. The reason I choose 2011Astrology.com is because it is up to date, and its content is rather detailed compared to the horoscopes from other websites or newspaper. Also, it provides exactly 6 lucky numbers in the daily horoscopes so that I can use them use buy lottery for my experiment.



After I get enough information, I will live my day based on the readings, such as what I should do, what I should not do, what to bring with me to boost my good luck and weaken my bad luck, keep my power colors, lucky numbers and compatible constellations in mind everyday and so on. I will post what happens to me on my blog everyday. After that, in order to check my luck actually, I will spend a dollar to buy lottery according to the lucky numbers I get from the horoscopes readings each day during the experiment. The result of the experiment may not be very scientific, since everything happens during the experiment might be just coincident or accidental. Therefore, when I make the conclusion at the end of my project, I would mainly focus on how I think or how I feel living based on the horoscope than the accuracy of the horoscope.
